Everything you need to connect a factory line to Numnio and start running Claude-powered inspections.
1. Install the edge gateway on your line PC (Linux x86-64):
curl -sSL https://numnio.dev/install.sh | sh
sudo numnio-gateway --config /etc/numnio/gateway.toml
2. Configure your camera and PLC endpoints in gateway.toml:
[camera.line1]
rtsp = "rtsp://192.168.10.21/stream1"
fps_target = 12
escalation_threshold = 0.62
[plc.press_02]
protocol = "opcua"
endpoint = "opc.tcp://192.168.10.40:4840"
3. Create an inspection job via the API:
curl -X POST https://api.numnio.dev/v1/inspect/jobs \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NUMNIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"line": "line1",
"model": "visualinspect-v2",
"output": {"mode": "defects", "schema": "v1"}
}'
4. Results stream to your webhook as validated JSON:
{
"job_id": "job_8f3a...",
"line": "line1",
"defects": [
{
"type": "solder_bridge",
"severity": "major",
"confidence": 0.97,
"cause": "Insufficient solder paste on pad 14; consistent with stencil clogging.",
"action": "Clean stencil, re-run pad 14 AOI sample."
}
]
}
